By downloading or using DayWise ("the app"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using DayWise, you confirm that you are at least 13 years old and agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

2. Description of Service

DayWise is an AI-powered task scheduling application that helps users organise and schedule their tasks intelligently. Features include AI scheduling, recurring tasks, calendar integration, and personalised productivity tools.

3. Account Registration

• You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised access to your account.
• One person may not maintain more than one free account.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

• DayWise offers a free tier and a Pro subscription with additional features.
• Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually as selected at purchase.
• Payments are processed through the Google Play Store or Apple App Store.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
• We do not offer refunds except where required by applicable law.
• Prices may change with reasonable notice.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the app for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to reverse engineer, hack, or disrupt the service
• Share your account credentials with others
• Use automated tools to access the service without permission
• Upload malicious content or interfere with other users

6. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of DayWise — including the AI scheduling engine, design, and code — are owned by us and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the app without our written permission.

7. User Content

You retain ownership of the tasks and data you create in DayWise. By using the app, you grant us a limited licence to process your data to provide the service. We do not claim ownership of your content.

8. AI Features

AI-generated schedules and suggestions are provided as assistance only. We do not guarantee the accuracy or suitability of AI-generated output. You are responsible for reviewing and acting on any suggestions made by the app.

9. Disclaimers

DayWise is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, accuracy of scheduling, or fitness for any particular purpose. Use the app at your own risk.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of DayWise, including but not limited to loss of data or missed deadlines.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time from the app settings. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via the app or email. Continued use of DayWise after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the South African courts.
